Ornaments
A trill is simply represented by the syntax tr right after the note. For example, a D7 trill would be represented as follows:
D7tr
A mordent is similar to a trill. You would write it using the syntax (W) after the note. For example, D7 mordent would be represented as follows:
D7(W)
An inverted mordent would follow the syntax (IW)
Turns and inverted turns are represented by the syntax (S) and (SI). A right turn is represented by the syntax -(SI). This too is located right after the note with no space. For example, a C5 turn followed by a G4 turn would be written as follows:
C5-(SI) ~ G4-(SI)
Appoggiaturas are represented by the syntax 'X-Y'+Z, X being the grace note pitch,Y being the value of the grace note and Z being the actual note. Acciaccaturas are represented by the syntax 'X-Y'+/Z, X, Y and Z being the same thing.
